"Micromanaging hiring and promotions. This is very frustrating because a VP has to give approval for operators by only seeing their resume."

"There are a number of things. They hire competent people, they use their resources wisely, if you need something beyond what the company provides and you can justify it, it's as good as in your hands. The management tends to use a 'hands off' approach, they don't try to fix something unless it needs fixing and that allows you a lot of latitude."

"Review what you know before you get there, because they will ask you. Expect to spend the whole day."

What don't you like about working at Maxim Integrated Products?

"I'm not going to say I really didn't like it but due to the 'fast change' mode of operation, you weren't always given a chance to adapt."

"More shared information about changes you are making or about to make."
