"I worked for Getty Images since 2017. It's a decent work environment with good benefits but has lacked any concrete vision in product development for some time now."

"The people and the work/ life balance are what separates Getty Images from other places I have worked. Initial compensation is good, but raises are poor and there is no bonus program."

"I worked for a year at Getty and found the shop a little chaotic. They have gone through 4 reorganizations in 21 months. They have drastically changed the task process injecting the Agile process for organizing workloads. The IT support groups are under staffed and this causes shortcuts and cowboys doing anything to get things done which causes more issues and cycle of support issues."

"Very unaware of the benefits of testing. Development used up almost all of Sprint time leaving little testing time. Testers were then penalized for holding up the sprint."

"Getty Images was a fantastic company. I liked my co-workers, my department, the lifestyle, even the management! I couldn't more highly recommend a company than Getty. If I had the opportunity to work there again, I would."

What do you like about working at Getty Images?

"It has good engineers and good products, but middle management is not adequate."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would not work here again, but if you want to interview, please be aware of it!"

What don't you like about working at Getty Images?

"Management is promoted from within, all while causing inept, inadequate, unprofessional middle management, to be promoted to more powerful positions while not learning how to manage people. One manager there was so bad she caused good people to quit! You never know what kind of mood she is in, she is often dressed like a tramp, getting drunk at after work dinners or drinks and inappropriately touching other men managers. I am so glad I am not working there anymore! Managers like her should be fired!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make sure to train or replace middle management as they have no clue how to manage."

What do you like about working at Getty Images?

"Nothing much redeeming about my experience. Smart engineers and some people are nice, but very few."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not work here unless you want to be very unhappy!"

What don't you like about working at Getty Images?

"As stated in other reviews, the company is run by neurotic bullies. Thats because management is promoted within the company causing inept, inadequate, unprofessional middle management, to be promoted to more powerful positions while not learning how to manage people. There is one manager there who has absolutely no clue how to manage people except by fear! She said so many illegal things to me I could have gone to HR and the EEOC! But she likes to bully and can make your life miserable. This manager is also vulgar; she arrives as if she is queen bee and does not say hI to anyone! She dresses as if she is 14 years old with short dresses that do not look good on her and I cant believe how many times I saw her underwear! Absolutely unprofessional behavior on so many fronts and her management does not seem to see anything wrong with this (maybe because they are men!) I was so happy to leave, I almost ran out of the building!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a clue and get your people managers trained or hire professional ones!"
