What do you like about working at Tivoli Software?
"I enjoyed what I did: engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, illustrations, labels, was happy with benefits, compensation"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Unless something drastic happens I would not recommend this environment to anybody"
What don't you like about working at Tivoli Software?
"Endless chaos, very bad communications, volatile environment, non existent trust, non existent engineering base - purchasing ordering parts without documentation, if you try to built the system, manager gets suspicious what your intentions are for some reason"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Employees are not your enemies, treat them that way, support people who are trying, you will benefit from it, support and use employees talents"
"Again you have to make sure you watch out for each time you do a contract they do not offer you less money."

"working with technology in my career field and not just another job"

"don't quit your job until after the doing an application. it sounded like they were trying to back out of hiring me after I quit my previous job after being offered the job. companies normally do the application and all the interviews before offering the job but that was not the case at this company"
What don't you like about working at Dwyer Instruments?
"the 6am start time and first break was at 9am. we had 3 hours of work than break. 3 hours of work than lunch. before 6am was too early to have breakfast"

"change the schedule. later start time breaks every 2 hours"

"the company moves slowly when it comes to its employees"

"No real challenges for my talents and none really expected in the future due to current plan for next several years."

"Better understanding of what is needed to improve quality and increase production by listening to suggestions that are forwarded through our quality system."

"INTEL is a great place to work, but Kelly may not be."

"Intel provides a clean, safe, professional environment. My boss and co-workers are extremely knowledgeable, proficient, and genial."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Kelly was a no-show, interview-wise: If the Intel supervisor wanted me, that's all they wanted to know. Interviewing at Intel is another story - they can afford to ask for a top degree and professional behavior."
What don't you like about working at Kelly Services?
"Kelly has a stranglehold on getting a contract position at Intel, but they provide nothing beyond the bare position and an hourly rate."

"Intel management knows they are heading into a 'post-PC' world, and must make changes. Kelly management is a complete mystery to me."

"Sorry I do not, Just be honest and open with them."

"How the boss or management always question everything that the employees are doing."

"Let the employees do our job and stop telling us how to do ours."

"The people I work with make my job great. I also love the projects I am handed. I have a sense of entitlement when I can help the company save money here or there."

"When interviewing with HR, if you are an engineer, remember that they have no idea about the systems they are hiring you for. Save the good stuff for the manager of the engineering department."
What don't you like about working at Columbus McKinnon?
"Currently my hours are harsh, I go in at 5 A.M., school from 12-4 then work again for a couple of hours, depending on the need."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We have a meeting every Thursday to discuss project status. All 8 engineers are present and discuss each project. This is a bit time consuming, I understand the idea but the time taken, normally 2-3 hours could be spent working."
