What do you like about working at Jamco America?
"Close to apartment. Working on OEM interiors modifications. Using Catia V5"
What don't you like about working at Jamco America?
"Going through to many managers. Very hard to attain information."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Work to assist the group not just themselves. If anything is expected anyway make sure everyone is informed. Don't go a firing rampage."

"It has been a very good and rewarding first experience in the engineering field."
What do you like about working at SSP?
"The people that I work with are great and the company seems to have unlimited potential for growth in the valve and fitting marketplace."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest. Don't try to hide a weakness. Show it as a strength that you are overcoming or have conquered."
What don't you like about working at SSP?
"currently there is no challenge in the work that I do because we reverse engineer many of our product lines from competitor companies. I don't get to come up with as many original concepts that I would like."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggestion to the management of my current company would be to listen more to the people that make and assemble our valves and focus on the quality of our products. That is what our reputation was built on."
What do you like about working at Washington Gas?
"At first it was like family, then over 24 years it changed to corporate attitude and contracting out work..good pay and benefits for awhile"

"Yes- go somewhere else ....You will do better with another company"
What don't you like about working at Washington Gas?
"corrupt upper management all the way to the top, work environment was less than stellar, employee were not team players, salary issues, no promotions, drugs, graft, favoritism, other issues"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I made my statement by leaving at 24 years - 6 years short of a full retirement. I could not stand the company and all its dealings"

"solid modeling cad design, a majority of assemblies used within the coach"

"monaco rv is now under the the guide of navistar .I have limited knowledge of them except thier location."
What don't you like about working at Monaco RV?
"after by out by navistar it was run from indiana, slow response, slow responce on the server"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I feel it was a mistake to close down the west coast assembly as now it will cost more in fuel to deliver finished product to the west coast."

What do you like about working at American Sales Industries?
"I enjoy working with computers and designing new things. I also have a great set of coworkers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Since new management it is not worth it to apply."
What don't you like about working at American Sales Industries?
"Old Boss gave company to his son. The son is very rude and vulgar about everything. He doesn't understand computers at all and expects it can all be fixed in five minues. He feels email and computers are a waste of time, why not just call someone."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Show respect to employees and they will do anything for you. Treat them like trash and all you get is trash."

What do you like about working at Osborn Engineered Products?
"There was a family culture but a large corporation feel about it. The work I was responsible for was rewarding. The department I worked in was close during work hours and during personal time. There was always the feeling of, if I fell, someone would catch me."

"Get your hands dirty in the workshop and on site. That is the best way to learn the industry."

"There resources to get the job done properly were not always available."

"Keep up the good work. Many changes were taking place, and I felt the company was heading in the right direction."

"Texas Instruments has work scheduling flexibility, and very competitive benefits."

"For design engineering, you want to make sure you thoroughly review amplifier design and transistor modelling."

"Texas Instruments has a high potential for downsizing after merger with National Semiconductor."

"Don't stifle the creativity of your employees. Texas Instruments was a great place to work and innovate, now that trend is discouraged."

"The pay is good and the benefits are good. The people I work with are good too."
What don't you like about working at HDR?
"I never get outside of the office. The work I do is super repetitive. I have very little instruction on how to do my job. My work goes through way too many reviews. It takes forever to get a simple task done."

"I would take time to train the people below me. I would help out more and give more instruction."

"The varity of projects, knowledge of LEAN MFG, travel, interactions with the German facility, overall project handling"

"the group was disbanded after 8 years. large amount of overtime and no compensation"

"return the pension plan for americans. better raises, compensation for overtime"

"I enjoy the projects, it allows for a breadth of projects to work on. Allowing for a lot of growth and team work."

"When interviewing for this company, focus on the basics of fpga programming (vhdl, verilog), micro-controller programming, driver programming, applications programming, and labview. Knowledge in these areas will help gain an understanding of the necessary skills required to work for this company."

"The company is a start up and funds are lacking, which does not allow room for compensation and benefits."

"I do not have any suggestions for management. I guess one would be to take the time to understand the employees."

"Older people work at this company so be respectful and smile."

"There is high level of seniority in the company with people who have worked there for 15 years plus. They are very trenched in their ways and very hard to see management exact change. The company culture and mission is just to make more money when they can highlight the change and improvement we bring to people. No mission which I can believe in."

"Focus on meaning and drive as a goal rather then growth for the sake of profits."
