"Family run, bad hire, on the downtrend."
What do you like about working at Verrex?
"Family owned company, that valued hard working employees, but bit off more than they could chew and made one monumentally bad hire in their ex-CFO."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This place is a shadow of its former self, I was let go in August with about 30+, plus closing of their two overseas branches...sales are declining...possibly will go out of business next year."
What don't you like about working at Verrex?
"This was a decently run company, but they made a very bad hire with an ego-maniac corrupt CFO, who basically s*t holed the company, after being fired, the company has been in financial straits, all their talented sales and engineering talent has left."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Major embezzlement caused all kinds of chaos, they need to rebuild their image and talent."

"Be honest and relax, the hiring manager is a nice guy who does want to hear what you have to say."

"The amount of time spent by most of the employees trying to blame their mistakes on other people rather than actually fixing the problems is astronomical. It makes it a difficult place to get work done."

"Allow the employees some freedom to make their own decisions. It is not necessary to get into every project."

"Management does not groom engineers. Engineers who are new to the company are throw into fire and learn on their own."

"Overall, good. The company is definately making changes since the change in CEO a few years ago, and seems to be trying to make changes to improve the business."

"Be prepared to work overtime without compensation. It's very common."

"This company can box you in for where you want to go. It's too easy to get stuck in one place and never advance. No overtime pay, lots of overtime."

"Better flex-time, more incentives for unusual ideas, bonuses or profit sharing for going above and beyond, overtime pay."

"There is nothing that I dislike about this company. In general, enjoyed working at ASM."

"We had a great team. I do not have any suggestions for the management."

"I enjoyed the people I worked with. I felt the leadership team was great as well. They knew all of their employees on a first name basis and tried to make those personal connections. I also enjoyed that fact that the office tried to do community outreach with local organizations."

"NA. Be yourself and have a willingness to learn new things. I am constantly learning new process, new features and functionality on a daily basis."

"I was not able to reach my full potential because of the lack of challenge"
