"I did not like that it was very far from my home."

"Keep on doing what they are doing cause they have a great team."

"The pay isn’t fair. Especially when the host gets told to do the servers the bartenders clearing the tables in which was not my job ...... and constantly being told that I had to sit one person more than the others that’s not fun fair to no one we are all trying to make a living. Applebees and Texarkana have proven not to be a fair environment I’m not kissing somebody’s butt right you’re gone. Oh and I did not to do the parking lot in the pouring down rain month and a half later I was told somebody called in on me that I was being racist I know that was a lie they wanted me gone because I told my boss man I was not clean in the parking lot in the pouring down rain and getting sick for him.. applebees and Texarkana has proven not to be a fair environment I’m not kissing somebody’s butt right you’re gone. Oh and I did not to do the parking lot in the pouring down rain month and a half later I was told somebody called in on me that I was being racist I know that was a lie they wanted me gone because I told my boss man I was not cleaning the parking lot in the pouring down rain and getting sick for him. He made the Key Holder at the time do it. It was Corporate I told my manager to get rid of me"

"Learning new recipes, and the employees were a blast to work with, there was never a dull day."

"Just make sure you have a sense of humor and get along with everybody."

What don't you like about working at Applebee's?

"The only thing I did not like working at the company was on football game days, it would get way too hectic, but was able to keep up with the orders."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I thought that he should be a little more flexible and sympathetic when it came to kids, if I had to miss a day of work b/c a child was sick."

"I liked that this company was well organized and had a decent computer program."

"You must be upbeat and never bring your problems to work."

"Being that the restaurant is small it was hard to get a good shift."

"I believe the management here was outstanding, and I suggest that they don't change at all."

"Wanted to move up in management, looked forward to being a district manager."

"Lots of training and knowledge needed to do a great job."

"Everything is pretty good. No real issues. It has been around for a while."

"Great boss, the job keeps you active and forces a positive attitude, meeting lots of different people, practice with multi-tasking constantly."

"Be willing to come in and work, and everyone's job will be easier, including yours. Those who tend to slack off seem to be the quickest to leave."

What don't you like about working at Applebee's?

"Some of the duties for positions seem unevenly distributed when compared to base pay."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Due to the location and slight lack of business and high turnover rate I've seen over the last year and a half, I believe a small pay increase would keep some of the rogue employees happy enough to stay."

"I have worked with Applebees for this past summer and the semester of school before it. I took the position because finances were tight and I wanted to avoid taking out loans.The work environment is fast-paced and fun, and the teamwork is great. My one complaint would be the lack of professionalism among the management, who often complain about employees to other employees. I find this behavior highly inappropriate. Otherwise, it is a great job."
