"I have worked with Applebees for this past summer and the semester of school before it. I took the position because finances were tight and I wanted to avoid taking out loans.The work environment is fast-paced and fun, and the teamwork is great. My one complaint would be the lack of professionalism among the management, who often complain about employees to other employees. I find this behavior highly inappropriate. Otherwise, it is a great job."

"I wouldn't recommend anyone to work at Applebee's, to make any money you have work split shifts. And unless you're buddies with the bosses, you're not becoming a bartender."

What don't you like about working at Applebee's?

"The unorganization that ensues from hiring faulty waitstaff. Night shifts are ridiculously chaotic not because it's busy but because there is no team work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I could I fire the workers who do not do their job."

"I made tips, I would like to apply for management, but never got that opportunity."

"You make good money but it depends on what location you are at... I like the atmosphere."

"Ask your employees who would like to apply for management, stop letting your employees tell you what to do."
