"While Allstate Insurance is a great place to work for many, the opportunities to continue to improve and develop are slim in the realm of Information Technology. The supervisors are great, the pay is decent, and the workplace really is laid back and they do appreciate you as employees, however they simply cannot create enough jobs to keep developing their IT force and most of the promotions received are only done so through waiting on another employee to retire or quit."
