Submit a Review"Love? Short answer - not much, I have a great supervisor, and co-workers make the nightmare better, but hitting the "dispatch" button is asking to playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded pistol. Hate? Waking up in the morning, hitting that "dispatch" button, customers who have no clue what Uverse is, or even what the internet is, struggling to meet AT&T's ever-changing quality, safety, and other metrics that are highly restrictive, constant safety and quality "inspections", the threats of termination from our 2nd level manager on a regular basis, supervisors cursing and berating and intimidating technicians who have to just "TAKE" it, because they have no other job prospects. Getting stuck on a job all day, when you have to put in a "helper" ticket to another technician to make the crappy copper pairs actually work, and your job was supposed to be completed in a couple hours. This whole job is a nightmare, and there are certain days when I think of giving up, and I dread waking up in the damn mornings. PLEASE don't take a wire tech position with AT&T! Go back to college and do ANYTHING, welding, walmart greeter, janitor, garbage truck man, whatever. This job is horrible."
