2.9I've worked at WGU for over 5 years as a mentor and have loved most of the role during that whole time. The students need to be the focus and what the student's see as their educational journey, not management. It has quickly become a hostile work environment, filled with managers who retaliate and turn petty when questioned about policies, micro-managing of employees who all have graduate degrees, and the push to have insanely high numbers of students. If you like to be downgraded because of your education, innovation, work 45-50 hours a week while getting paid for 40, and policies that are not written or set in stone anywhere, except when it's handy for upper management...then this is the place of employment for you!
