"Plenty of room for growth. Weak commission structure, thankfully the base is good. Manager should not oversee sales. They are more service managers, hopefully they will implement a sales mgr in the future."
"It is an okay place to work but management can be tough on you to make your numbers. I did enjoy my time and learned a lot about selling which I am taking with me in my career but it does not seem like a place people stay for long."
"I used to enjoy this place, but now it is like a nightmare."

"I dislike upper management and the micromanaging that recently came into place. They do not offer sick days. You just don't get paid."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Review who you have in the offices working. The company is wasting thousands on shady employees."
"I worked for TruGreen for 5 years. It is a very dog eat dog company with little to no direction from leadership."
"I worked with TruGreen for 8 years and it was one of the most horrible places to work. You get yelled at constantly, written up for the most insane reasons and they make you feel worthless even when you are one of their best employees. If you are seeking a job with this company, I recommend you forget it."
"I worked for TruGreen for less than 1 year because I received a better job offer. The one thing I did like about the position was the cardio (lots of walking) and talking to new people everyday. On the downside, however, the pay is not worth what you do everyday and the communication between sales, techs, managers, and customers is horrible. There are several times you will be doing a lawn that is way under priced because the sales reps have to hit a quota. I would never work there again and hopefully this review helps you."
"Absolutely the worst company to work for! The management team are brainless puppets that couldn’t be managers at any other company in the world, basically robots that can’t think or do anything on their own, this includes general manager and service managers."
"This is the worst company I've worked for: stressful, depressing, and frustrating."
What do you like about working at TruGreen?
"Not too many times in my career have I been able to say nothing."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is no future here. The longest employee for the company is one year in my location."
What don't you like about working at TruGreen?
"Managers are controlling, micromanaging, degrading, and have a lack of knowledge."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look at industry standards. Be the wheel, not the brake. Learn to build morale."
"Probably the worst company you could ever work for, I only recommend it if you are completely and utterly desperate!"
"I worked for TruGreen for nearly two years and during that time found the environment unsatisfactory and leadership directionless. This is very much a churn and burn company with many of the most employed job titles having triple digit turnover. New HR leadership came in and in the short time span of 9 months, 1 out 6 directors remain, and many of the new employees within HR have resigned. The new CHRO is bringing in their own crop of people who basically monitor and relay back to her things said and done. I witnessed first hand a Sr. Director bad mouthing a long tenured person in HR, who was then fired from the company. The culture here is toxic. It feels like this company values money much more than their employees."
"Worst micro management ever. If you want to be treated like a child that needs a baby sitter this job is for you. If you are a motivated sales person that works hard so you can make money and not because you are told to, then this job is not for you."
"They are the worst company. They treat their coworkers very bad and they don't appreciate the work that they put in."
"I have no idea how can a company hire so many perverted men and house them in one roof. All the men here would come on to you while knowing you are married. While working there, I saw some of them touching themselves and no one ever did anything. The HR department is a joke. Half of the time, there is no HR so if you have any issues, too bad. Management is always putting each other down and thinking they are better than each other. The money is good but if you are a woman and are ok with this..."
"If you like dragging a 200' hose through dog crap, this job may be for you."
What do you like about working at TruGreen?
"I liked absolutely NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. Did I mention absolutely nothing!!!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"DON'T DO IT. Scrape up road kill for a living if you have to."
What don't you like about working at TruGreen?
"I worked for a wagon-load of buffoons who are dumber than a box of rocks."
