"AT&T is a collection of great people and really bad managers who don't realize how well they really have it."
What do you like about working at AT&T?
"I worked with a great team of knowledgeable people who were great to be with outside of work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Use the educational benefits and get into upper management."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Some people did not understand the technology or the processes, but they were supposed to manage them. Some of the sales people did nothing, lied, and were rewarded for it. Others were let go while being honest, taking care of their customers and doing what was right for the company. Thinking outside of the box and finding additional revenue sources was actually frowned upon because there wasn't a process in place to show the revenue flow to the appropriate client account."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When measuring performance, make sure the ruler is a universal standard. If someone offers free money by closing unexpected business, figure out a way to take it and pay them."
