"I really enjoyed my job for TCS. However, in the Army I worked in Network Operations and was responsible for a very large network, then when I worked for TCS I was responsible for only one node. I missed having a large network to look after as it kept me constantly engaged in problem solving, there was never a lull in op tempo."

"It pays well comparatively other IT firms in SrI Lanka"

"If you really like innovation and creativity, this is not the your cup of tea. But if you are interested only about money no matter you work day or night this is the right place for you."
What don't you like about working at Information Technologies?
"There is no specific time to work. When company needs us no matter day or night we must have to work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Poor decision making by upper-middle management and that affected badly to some projects."

"I work nights and things can be really slow. Many different OS to learn."
What do you like about working at EasyLink Services?
"not very stressful after you learn the systems and procedures. Much help is provided for issues we recieve."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"yes, realize it is a stable company but not very competetive in pay."
What don't you like about working at EasyLink Services?
"low pay, lack of oppurtunity to move up, and feeling of being lost as an employee"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would like to suggest they look at things like flex days, and work from home oppurtunties if they are not going to give raises."

"I appreciated the environment that RTE placed me in. I found a great opportunity to hone and refine my project management, and time management skills in a tough regulated environment."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Nothing specific in the way of advice other than to establish up front if your role is to be at a client as a consultant, or more main office centered."
What don't you like about working at Realtime Associates?
"I felt there was a large disconnect between the main corporate entity and the employees that the placed at the client that I was consulting for. There were several events that occurred that we as satellite employees never were made aware of."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My main suggestions for management would be to involve the satellite employees more in the daily events at the main office. Some of the managers understand this and their example should be employed more as a SOP than an exception."

"After assign Task , or Job with Target Time, just remind to employee if you can't see any progress"

"my co-workers were great to work with always helpful and shared there knowlegde"

"my manager was selfish and took credit for everything everyone else did. Never wanted his employees to succeed"

"If you dont treat you employees with respect everyone is gonna wan to leave"
What do you like about working at CBE Technologies?
"there is no micro managing. In my opinion, that is a trait for companies with irresponsible staff."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is a pleasant place to work, however this question is moot, since they are laying off. that is the reason for me looking."
What don't you like about working at CBE Technologies?
"We are a support center, and as such need to support products the company sells. There is no training on said products. We are expected to support things we have never seen before."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest that they make communication a very high priority, which they have begun to undertake. weekly staff, and quarterly corporate meetings have been scheduled and adhered to."
