"State Street is a financial institution that spans the globe. As such, there is more bureaucracy and red-tape than government, which is however a small price to have paid for working with some of the best software engineers and managers in my 20+ year career."

What do you like about working at State Street?

"It was an energized day. Never boring and always busy; not always stressful... but could be at times."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"State Street has purchased more companies in NJ, but each of those are operated very differently from headquarters."

What don't you like about working at State Street?

"There was not a lot of on going training. They only offered online classes regarding federal mandates. The headquarters was in Boston, MA and I don't believe much effort was put into NJ."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would not have promised to keep open the NJ office and then close it down."
