"It's fun for a while but be prepared to move on when it gets old."
What don't you like about working at Jet Propulsion Laboratory?
"Too mired in legacy ways of thinking and doing work, never time to do it right but always time to do it over. Too much internal competition--duplication of effort and wasted time--multiple stove-piped internal organizations working against one another not competing for the same work but worse actually *doing* the same work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"move away from the failing, legacy hierarchical management system to a better, more modern organizational leadership model where software development using Scrum and design methodologies are encouraged and can flourish."

"This company as been preparing for IPO for may be 30 years, take a few days to think things through"

"There is no growths prospect for most science/technical staff and we lost key people because of it."

"enthusiasm is the number one capital of an R&D company."

"Many technologies available to support. A few opportunities to work from home."

"If hired keep a resume handy as you may realize it's not a place for you."
What don't you like about working at Computer Sciences Corp?
"One quarter in order to meet their numbers, CSC forced all employees to take a 10% pay cut. Some divisions got pay cut back the following quarter but to manipulate earnings like this is deplorable."

"CEO has been replaced, focus more on the making employees feel like they are valued."

"After solving 3 of their important problems, and planning the implementation, my 90-day probationary period was up."
