"Some of the other employees and customers made it worthwhile to go to work."

"This company may seem good on the interview level but once you get down deep and are working there then you will see the true evil this place is."
What don't you like about working at S.P. Communications?
"This was the worst work environment. No training, no communication, being cursed at and degraded for reasons that are out of your control. Not allowed to work as a team with other employees and not allowed to ask questions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Improve themselves and learn how to treat others with respect. Improve communication as employees are not mind readers."

"Procedures not in place where I believe they could be to improve processes."

"More accountability requirements needed across the company to allow everyone a chance at growth."

"The fact that sometimes customers can be a real headache with some of their complaints."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Not to judge their employees on the basis of their homelife."
What do you like about working at Lehigh Hanson?
"I worked with a great team of people. My relationship with upper management was also very good."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is not an academic culture, and that means you should be down to earth. Make sure you know the consequences of performance and failure. Even though my relationships with upper management were excellent, I was the exception and it was helpful. I strongly recommend building strong relationships with anyone up the ladder."
What don't you like about working at Lehigh Hanson?
"There were several acquisitions during my tenure at Lehigh. In fact, my supervisor had worked for 7 different companies and didn't change jobs. Because of the constant merging and acquisition, many of us felt undervalued and unclear about how things were going to be done. The company moved from being sales office/production center to being corporate office centered. There were a lot of mistakes and a lot missed opportunities. It was almost impossible to know who handled what."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would assess the field and understand the business in the field. It seemed like the field offices were minimized even though they were the income generators. At times, the corporate office developed process protocols that were not intuitive or appropriate for the field."
What do you like about working at Les Schwab Tires?
"I always have work to do and I am able to do be more of a bookkeeper instead of a salesperson."

"Know going in if this is what you want to do forever or not."

"Need more hours to get work done and to live on. Employees aren't always treated right"

"Focus on keeping the workers that we do have happy instead of laying them off and hiring new workers. Also cut back on area managers spending habits"

"I enjoyed the people as well as the experience and technological expertise I gained during my tenure at Air-Trak."

"A self-starter mentality is helpful, as the company runs like a start-up."
What don't you like about working at Air-Trak?
"The commute to San Diego was a bit tiresome at times."

"I would suggest they increase their marketing budget, as we had very little support in that arena."

"I want to expand my horizon so I would like to work in USA."

"Management should be equal for everyone. In a good management there will be a lot of good opportunities for employees."

"Lack of communication between departments sometimes caused unnecessary problems and delays."

"Inform personnel of updates/changes in procedures in a timely manner to avoid delays and confusion."

"Show consideration and gratitutde for the work that is done. Working as the middle man it is not very often that we are recognized for our hard work."
