"Continue to remind those that work on client site of opportunities within the company. Since contracts do fall by the wayside due to the effects of the economy or customer cutback requirements, it is important to do reminders consistently."

"I wasn't interviewed. I was hired because I had a pulse...I was actually told that in my interview."

"The management staff delegated their responsibility and collected the large paychecks. There was no reward for hard work and good performance. The entire team ended up without mngt as they were fired and we were all let go after they found replacements for us in another location."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't lose your ethics for a paycheck and don't forget that the people you abuse are the people that are going to either back you up or push you under the bus."

"Large corporation. Lots of people. Lots of revenue."

"If you're interviewing for a position in corporate, lucky you. If your interviewing for a contracting position, good luck."

"$8 Billion in revenue and middle management can be cheap and miserly. Don't expect anyone there to reply to any emails."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Your contractors earn your salary. Abandon them and lose revenue. Respond to emails. Pay valid education expenses. Treat everyone with the same consideration."

"In an interview people always put on their best face for the other party. At SAIC, the same is true. You won't be able to tell that the people you are talking with are sociopathic, back-stabbing, mealy-mouthed cowards who will betray you just for the fun of betrayal."

"At SAIC management eats their own employees. If you are thinking about starting a legal action against SAIC I encourage you to do it. You won't be sorry you did."

"Pull your head out of your pucker and get some morals."

"*very* political environment. A lot of your movement had to do with your connections, not necessarily your performance. The epitome of 'the good ol' boys' network."

"With 45000 employees, SAIC has a large amount of contractors earning money for the company but not really treated like employees. You are only a number, not a name and they are deeply mired in their own counter-productive policies."

"Very poor communication. Knee jerk reactions to problems. Cheap."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't be cheap. Treat your contractors as good or even better than the internal staff since your contractors are the ones making money."
