What do you like about working at Peak Performance?
"The people are mostly easy to work with. The work is challenging."

"The company had 19 consecutive profitable years and then one bad one. Management recently decided to buy a new building in Calabasas instead of continuing to lease a building in Northridge."
What don't you like about working at Peak Performance?
"Most of the work I've done has nothing to do with the project for which I was hired (and which has been shelved indefinitely)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Give your staff tasks to do and then step back and let them do what you asked them to do."

"It was exciting first job out of college. This job provided a great environment to work for."

"They like to hire fresh out of college for 2 reasons, cheap and fresh ideas."

"There is a lot of in fighting in the mid level management, but resolved at the end."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Since the Shuttle project is gone, I would say to Lockheed to continue what they are doing."

"Leave when you graduate. It is not worth staying afterward."

"I hate working for a boss who believes in micromanaging, but is never around to do it, so that when she does come around, everything is an issue."

"Either be hands on or hands off, mixing the two is bad."

"I loved the hospital. Worked there for several years while I was attending collage in several departments"

"The hospital is now closed. No suggestions. They had more Chief's than Indian's, otherwise they would still be open"

What do you like about working at Massachusetts Institute of Technology?
"It's a laid back culture, as is usual in academia no one cares when you work so long as the work gets done, which is very nice because it gives me a flexible schedule."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Mainly, just be friendly but also be sure to have sharp programming skills, especially in MATLAB, you will need to learn a lot the first few days so be sure you are willing to study for a little while."
What don't you like about working at Massachusetts Institute of Technology?
"Often times I have to come up with something to do myself, since I am not trained in atmospheric sciences directly, it is a lot of work to figure out what to do sometimes. If I need to meet with those whom I work with, it is a scheduling nightmare."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Simply to be more quick in addressing problems, I sometimes feel stuck until I meet with someone and it can take them days just to answer a When can we meet email."
