"Food Lion may some times offers growth opportunitues, their benefits are ok, Far as job security sometimes Food Lion may have to cut back hours due to business maybe slow for the week so total hours are up/down."
What do you like about working at Food Lion?
"Meeting/ greeting/ assisting customers. I had customers who loved for me to wait on them."

"Go to the interview with a clear open mind and have a willing to take on new roles for something you didn't apply for."
What don't you like about working at Food Lion?
"I didn't like when Food Lion would have to cut employee hours b/c of a slow week. And there be long lines because their wasn't enough people on a register."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Make sure you have people who is going to willing to assist on the registers when their is a shortage of staff."

"Stable healthcare environment with excellent diversed staff members."

"That my contract ended because of downsizing efforts."

"Always try to keep dedicated staff members if possible."

"Providing a service to the customer was very important to me. There are a lot of people in need and I was happy to help make the lives a little better."

"If you are customer service oriented, then this would be the place for you."

"For the most part I enjoyed the opportunity to work for Riverside County DPSS. It was a learning experience. Unfortunately, it was not a career match with my past experience and training."

"My suggestion for management would be to continue the support and training for the employees. From my observations, the employees were extremely overwhelmed with their case loads."

"I like the training, It was very thorough and we were given extensive information in order to get the job done. If you ever had any questions we had the option of either calling the Corporate Office or sending an E-mail to obtain information."

"I really enjoyed every aspect of my job. I truck drivers were really great. I really enjoyed working with the truck drivers. I was a great experience learning about trucking companies."
