Heartland Hospice Employee

"This review is for Santa Clara, CA office. The work environment reminds of a manufacturing plant with lots of pressure and poor treatment to their employees with no opportunity to express themselves or bring any points for discussion. Nurses are working long hours up to 70 a week and are appreciated the most. Office staff is undermined and treated poorly. Team work between departments lacks respect and tolerance. Upper management comes to work at 8.30 and leaves for most of the days at 3 pm. Majority of the time head of the office spends talking privately in the office with favor employees, but not available for regular employee meetings. It's frustrating and disorganized work environment."

"I've worked for Heartland Homecare for a year and love it there. I just feel that I have the training to be doing more than just patient care. The company is good to me and works with its employees to ensure their success. I would recommend this organization to others searching for a job in home-health nursing. The only down side is that the company is so large it takes forever to make necessary changes to improve processes."
