"This is a good stepping stone, but don't make the mistake I did and see this as the company you will retire from. If you do, you will retire broke."

What don't you like about working at Gunther International?

"The relationship with the customer was somewhat abusive. Sometimes, the customer displayed that they had power over us and knew it and would play silly games to threaten your job just to get their way. In two words: workplace bullying."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop being so submissive to the customer. You have something of great value to them and you need to own it and make them recognize it. Support the team that earn your place."

"No real consideration for the average worker. If your not at home office you don't appear to matter"

"Productivity and the bottom line will improve if the employees concerns are met"

"Gunther is a good employer, but being based in CT there is only so far you can go here in TX, without moving to CT."

"Security, coworkers are great, interesting field of work"

"You have to present yourself as multi-talented and able to be flexible in your duties. A good customer working relationship is a must."

What don't you like about working at Gunther International?

"Gunther is always too tight with money; raises and promotions are laughable, benefits are decent, liberal with vacation time - tight with money. We could have kept good people thru the years if they would open up the checkbook a little."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They have always treated me well as far as compensation - a few others as well. I cannot say the same for most of the others that I work with - the company could improve by trying to hang on to talented employees rather than letting them leave and trying to replace them with lowered paid workers."
