"Like a lot of companies, good points and bad. Compensation and lack of opportunity to grow within Granite Services International are the bad and on the flip side, it can help you get good, diverse experience and further your career outside the organization. They are a good entry level company and have decent benefits. I would recommend them based on that criteria. However, for someone looking for a long term future, I would not."

"I loved the first year I was at Granite, and part of the second. When the relationship of my contract manager and PSA leader to my team began to turn, the negative effects on morale of all of the team members were tremendous. Several members voluntarily quit, at the height of the recession, rather than stay on with this contract house. I was laid off in 2009, only to be picked up by another contract house for the same client five weeks later. I've never been so happy to be unemployed."
