"It was a great experience to work for such a large company, but one can also get lost very quickly with ideas that cannot get to the proper levels."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I am not aware of anyone at UTC now, so I cannnot respond to this one. I can assume that because UTC is a Fortune 500 company that technical, channel sales and support is paramount."

What don't you like about working at General Electric?

"GE Security is no longer in business and is part of UTC. It seemed to me and most employees that the desire was always to pull revenue from the sister companies and sell."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Now being part of UTC, I assume that the sister companies are now where they should be, though challenges remain with integrating the various UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS based access control and IP video systems."

"Support, great known name, family oriented and resource rich! A great environment to work in"

"Too many organizational changes that detracts from the core business and causes gaps in the ranks (people leave quite regularly so you don't have the continuity)"

"Stabilize the business and determine what business you are really in and stick to it!"
