"Carefull what you say as GE does not want independent thinkers but people who will fill do only what they are told (yes men)"

"Too bureaucratic, not able to let field personnel make decisions which would affect positive operation of business unit. Company too worried about cost of safety programs where they would delay instituting safety programs over cost."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There is many mangers that are making poor decisions including board members. I would remove those people and replace them with individuals who have many more years of experience. Do not just look at their education background as that does not make a good manager."

"Pretty good pay, dont expect much family time or career advancement opportunities. Constantly readjusting contract wording in their favor. Comes across as dishonest."

"Good place to get experience in GE dominated industry."

"Don't expect to be considered for GE positions just because you work for their subsiderary. They will hire outside the company, in most cases first."

"Wholly owned subsiderary of GE. Can seem like you are being treated like second rate citizens by full time GE employees."

"Have some continuity there are constantly changes being made to procedures on a daily basis. Change is fine but you never have time to tell if something is working like it was intended if its constantly changing."
