"I worked for General Dynamics IT for over seven years. I have been laid off only because GDIT had lost the contract. However, I did like the people I worked with and for and the work environment was great. The company treated me well and provided me the opportunity to advance and improve my skills. I don't know what else to say about GDIT that would help explain how I feel about GDIT. They were an excellent company to work for and If the chance comes again I will work for them again."

Although the position may be a contract position it allows you to continue the contract with the new company that takes over. That's its advantages that comes with the company."

"The location is struggling to change its ways in order to remain competitive. Morale is low and many are headed for greener pastures. Positive change is happening but will take years to yield fruit."

However I feel that they promote on the basis of the less you know, the better when it comes to supervisors and other upper level management. But keep in mind that GDIT is a huge company and may be very wonderful in other sectors."

"EB is fairly good company to work for. Pros: Very stable job, low possibility of layoffs or Reductions in Force. Interesting subject matter as it is Defense related. Flex time for 40 hrs/week. Cons: It has issues with vacation time and organizational inertia. Everything seems to be stuck in the fact that the company is mostly hourly laborers (time clock, extremely restrictive IT policies). Parking at the main facilities in Groton and New London, CT is quite a hassle."
