"Again, I really enjoyed the nature of the work. Bookkeeping and orgainzing is where I excel. The work environment and the owner were very relaxed which made it a very comfortable work environment."

"Be straightforward and honest. Must be quick thinking and clever."
What don't you like about working at ACME Powerwash?
"The only detriment was there was not enough work for me to continue working there. It was a small business and once I streamlined processes, there weren't more than 15 hours per week of work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. I have the upmost respect for Nathaniel. He is a successful businessman and excellent employer."

"They have to be assertive of their rights as an employee."

"The practice and principles of the company. The owners often require the employee to do some things that are not within the guidelines of IRS or not within the standards (i.e. transparency, honesty) of what a company should do especially if you have outside investors."

"What I like most about working at this company is that it gives me the opportuinity to work in many areas of a business; managing employee hours, inventory, accounts payable, account receivable, as well as a myriad of other things."

"I would suggest that anyone interviewing with this company be ready to work hard. As it is a small company, each employee takes on a vital roll."

"I don't like the segregated structure of the business. As it is a small business, having only one employee in chage of all payables, receivables and bookkeeping allows for no checks an balances. I feel that the company has very little safeguards when it comes to many of the workers in the business."

"I would suggest to management that they should apply more safeguards to inventory, petty cash accounts and anything that the employees have direct contact with."

"I was a full charge bookkeeper so I took care of all accounting for the law office, providing a spreadsheet breaking down the income by location, attorney and type of case on a monthly basis along with the monthly financial statement and weekly income/expense recap."

"Be very sure of yourself and your abilities and have a strong constitution. Dress business casual and be consise and straight to the point."

"The main attorney has a very short temper and had unreasonable expectations of his employees. He was verbally abusive to his employees."

"Have more patience with your employees and treat them as human beings. Do not jump to conclusions until you have heard all the facts."

"My actual job. I love what I do. I am not ond of the owners."

"Run the other way!!! You will be bullied. Run Run"

"The vice president is a boss from hell. As long as he is in the picture, I will be looking to get out. It has not always been like this. Hence, the reason I have lasted 18 years."

"Get rid of the problem. The employees would be much more happy. He is a son, so that dream is impossible."
