Medical Sales Representative

"While working with Forest I've grown as a sales professional ten-fold."

What do you like about working at Forest Laboratories?

"I like that my company rewards hard work more than most of the other Phamaceutical companies around. Most pharmaceutical representatives get the reputation of being lazy. My company does not allow this on any level."

What don't you like about working at Forest Laboratories?

Territory Representative

"Good starting place, don't plan to stay forever."

What do you like about working at Forest Laboratories?

"The large territory was great for future roles, also the variety of practitioners you called on gave you great experience for the future. The bootom line is that it's a great starting place, companies love to see you've worked at Forest because they know they have extremely high expectations for their reps and if you've survived more than a couple of years you must be a really hard worker."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Tell them you'll work at least 70hrs a week or more and you'll probably get the job."

What don't you like about working at Forest Laboratories?

"Forest is big on micromanagement. There's a lack of opportunity for growth unless you want to relocate or you've made really good friends with someone higher up. Promotions are made mostly on who they like not who's most qualified. There's a huge lack of balance between work and family. And I guess because of the large amount of unhappy people, the amount of negativity is overwhelming. Forest tears you down allowing you to easily find another company eager to mold you into the rep they want."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Positive reinforcement. Positive coaching. Key word POSITIVE! Maybe if they weren't so negative, they would get more out of their reps."
