"HP looks like it is moving toward IT service provider, if you are not in this area, you may end up under another company soon."
What don't you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?
"Its commitment to the employee has been reduced with the years, not that much different that other big companies. Not enough budget for R&D."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The company has an agenda to be small but it is very difficult to see where the management is going. Be more open, select your path and start running..."

"IBM in a nutshell."
What do you like about working at IBM?
"I learned a lot, there were a lot of talented engineers with tons of experience. The managers I had were very friendly and easy to talk with. My team was very personable."
What don't you like about working at IBM?
"Firmware was a little more level than I really enjoy. One of the things I liked best about my independent work was I could easier see the results of my work in the final product, at IBM the projects were so large it was sometimes difficult to get a high level understanding of what was going on."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I really can't complain about the management, I got along very well with them."
