"I liked working for Sears, but it was hard for upper management to receive new ideas."

"Change your mindset, and adapt to new ways of doing things. Think outside of the box."

"I have worked in the manufacturing environment for over 20 years and apply my skills daily working at Lowe's."
What do you like about working at Lowe's?
"Lowe's is an outstanding company to work for. With the exception of a retail work schedule, I would say it is one of the most stable companies I have worked at. I like the benefits, 401K and what the company matches. Lowe's stock is outstanding. The company assists its employees in the case of natural disasters."

"Dress for success. Know the company and the job to be performed."
What don't you like about working at Lowe's?
"The main thing I dislike working at Lowe's is working a retail work schedule."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The only thing I would suggest to senior management is to get out of the office and spend 1 month a year in a store."

"I was good at what I do, so the work was realtively simple"

"good place to work for, but layoffs took a bunch of good employees out of the building. Buyer beware."
What don't you like about working at Macsteel?
"inside sales forced same-day turn arounds for 15 sheets of steel, many times the order was for less!! No backing from upper management to control the qty of unnecessary changeovers"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If you post a 3-day lead time to you customers, make them stick to it. They will ALWAYS say it's an emergency if they know you will do it on those conditions."

"I liked being good at the job, and fellow associates whom you develop friendships with."

"Just read the value wheel and give them all the BS. If you dance the dance, they will eat it up."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"The pay sucks and the customer wins over the employee at all cost. We are paid to accept rudeness and be crapped on all day, and then at the end, say it was just our job. Sorry, this is bad for the world; it's like giving a dog a treat when it craps on your floor."

"Fire a lot of people, change management, and pay more."

"I suggest when interviewing that you be prepared to work your shift and be there on time."

"I didn't like the fact that we needed work within a budget to schedule people to work during peak times."

"I had only one suggestion for management. I suggested that we work with our employees with a little more consideration for their schedules."

"Good Pay. Great benefits. Most employees are happy yo have their job and want to do a good job."

"Go into it knowing you will never have a set schedule and working most weekends, nights, and holidays. Not a bad job."

"I hate the hours. Weekends. Nights. Holidays. I am sick of a different schedule every week."

"The same as any other big company. They need to listen to the employees that are in the action and not make decision based on zero experience in the departments."

"It is a fast paced, constantly changing environment with challenges daily."

"It's a great company; they will treat you as well as you treat them, or better. Be honest always. Don't be afraid to venture new ideas."

"The compensation package is not up to industry standards and needs updating."

"Don't be afraid to try new and revolutionary ideas that could dramatically increase sales."

"I liked that I quit after I was told I couldnt demote myself until another manager replaced me which could take months...in reality I was used until uppermanagement took their vacation"

"make sure you get something in writing because you might be a manager in one department but you will end up working in every dept but yours and still be responsible for deadlines and planograms in yours"
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"Underpaid...company lied about bonuses and raises...uppermanagement was rude and did not respect their employees, CBLs and proper training were given to employees"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"employees should get paid according to education, not only experience. Christmas bonuses would be nice to show appreciation to employees. I had a masters degree and they started me at $9.35 per hour. An employee who sexually harassed women was moved up to assistant manager."

"It was okay but not a career job for a family."

"If you are looking for a job for now it's okay. But don't try to make a future with them, or you will waste a lot of your life."

"Menards doesn't care how long you work for them. They will replace you like you meant nothing to the company."

"Show the employees how much they mean to the company."
What do you like about working at Cabrini Medical Center?
"CabrinI was like a family - the best Hospital in New York. Everything was great about it."
What don't you like about working at Cabrini Medical Center?
"There is nothing which I didn't like. I just enjoyed working there"

"Hospital is closed at 2008, it's too late to make any suggestions"
