Working at Crossmark in Plano, TX: 21 Employee Reviews

Crossmark Employee

"I have been at Crossmark several years. In that time the company has been bought and sold at least twice! Every new owner gives us more hoops to jump through, more little tasks (with NO added pay!), more restrictions and conditions to adhere to; the noose just gets tighter and tighter! I have been layed-off 3 times in the years I've been here and twice I was notified by EMAIL! My supervisor DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO CALL ME IN PERSON! My supervisor constantly complains about people quitting on her (DUH!!!) I have not had a raise in over two years, but Inflation continues to skyrocket!!!Part-timers (EVERYBODY is part-time!) don't get any paid vacation, holidays or sick days! I've been with Crossmark longer than I care to admit and I am still only making $15 an hour! Recently EVERYBODY in the company was REQUIRED to sign a waiver "CONSENTING" to GPS tracking on our company provided device (phone, tablet)! So if you finish working at 5PM and decide to stop at a bar, WHATEVER- than they know where you are AFTER working hours! The device is assigned to you, you have to have it with you at all times because you are responsible for it! These are SOME of the reasons I'm on Indeed looking for a DIFFERENT job! Crossmark is a revolving door company on the decline."

"I have been with CROSSMARK for almost two years now. It has been a place of growth, personal and social development. I have been lucky to be apart of such a strong team managed by industry leaders."

"I've worked for Crossmark/Sam's Club for two years. It has been a wonderful experience. I enjoyed presenting the product, having them test the product and selling the product. By doing this on a part-time basis, I sold a lot of products and I also made friends with the members at Sam's Club. It's a great company to work for."

"This company I currently am employed under does not quite know what is up and what is down. Their implementation with anything is lagging and not neat at all. They have 0 leaders and have 0 direction. I want to work for an employer that knows where they want to be, and takes me to success with them!"

"I work for Crossmark for over a year. Resources are limited and unrealistic. Management is not interested in suggestions for improvement. In my year there turnover was high, (even in higher positions such as VP's and directors) Recruiting department is the worst department to work for. Lies about pay and demands above and beyond results with no platform"

"I've worked for CROSSMARK since June 4, 2018. This company assists representatives that work on reset projects at Walgreens, Publix, and Ulta Beauty to name a few; we also help those located in Puerto Rico and Canada as well. I love working for this company because I do feel like I'm a part of a family and not just another employee/co-worker."

"I was employed by Crossmark for two years and some change. With any job there were good and bad things about the company. Good: 1.Benefit package and discounts you can take advantage of. 2.Coworkers who can help you with a phone call/email. 3.IT dept there to help when all else fails. 4.Get more familiar with your state with all of the driving you do. Bad: 1.Some of the reimbursements (vehicle use, tolls, and printing) don't really add up to what the real costs are, and are not explained very well at all. 2.Territory sizes can make you be away from home for 12 hrs. 3.If you get disciplined for something and it requires something higher than an oral warning, it may come down via phone call instead of a letter in the mail. 4.Calling IT can cost you lots of time and set you behind. 5.Unless you have a background in sales and have a business degree, don't bother applying for a sales rep job here."

"6 Months in this position. Company is a very large billion dollar company that has small company growing pains. Systems and processed need an overhaul and company has the tendency to find solutions inside when they should look for outside vendors. Employee engagement is good but could be so much better. They need to improve communication from the bottom up. Lots of potential for company and in the right division, I think there is employee growth."

"I have worked for Crossmark for 5 years, overall my experience has been positive. I would recommend this company to a fellow job seeker. Work pace is fast and challenging but coworkers are willing and able to assist in completing tasks to keep the business moving in a positive direction."

"Working for Crossmark, Inc. has taught me a lot about how to detail with personnel in the retail market and finding solutions to their customers problems. I have 25 years in the B 2 B sales not until recently have not had the retail market experience. I have gotten that experience now and look forward to using both of these work experiences in a new full time position."
