"I was a contractor, so my job personnally was not secure. Also, the skill level of people outside the legal group was not always high."

"Working with the residents and seeing when I put a smile on their face, that I have made their day a little brighter."

"The fact that the other CNA's/CMA's didn't care about the residents. How they would sit in the office while the pager was going off and expect the new people to break their backs because no one wanted to help."

"Trust the new people when they say they are alone on the floor."

"I was able to work at my own pace with minimal supervision; manager and co-workers were always willing to help out if needed."

"Remember to work hard; no supervision means it could be easy to slack off, but people will notice if you do."

"There were a lot of projects and surveys we were required to do that did not seem to have anything to do with our jobs."

"I was on call 24 hours a day all year. I had to work many holidays."
