What do you like about working at Access General Insurance?
"I have some of the best coworkers. Most of them work very hard and want to provide excellent customer service but are prohibited from doing so by those running the company. They do pay very well."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process is simple. They ask nothing but very basic claims handling questions. Be confident and definitely talk to people who work there and really listen to what they have to say."
What don't you like about working at Access General Insurance?
"While most companies are striving to provide a better work/life balance for their employees, we are told that we need to make our own work/life balance. Yet, it is strongly recommended that we give up our weekends and holidays to come to work. We get very little paid time off (PTO) only 6 paid holidays and have no flexibility with our work schedules. The work load is insane and we are constantly being screamed by people who have every right to be upset because management will not allow us to provide any level of customer service."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the staff. You pride yourselves on hiring seasoned claims people and then fail allow them to do their jobs. Find a balance between productivity and customer service."
