"There are many Politic, if you get caught into one then you are pretty much done. At the end, you are just a number. They laid people off every 6 months. Also they move you to different team without your consent. It sounds like it is nothing serious until you are in the team that the opposite of what you are looking for."
"Too many LRs (Limited Restructuring) and re-org, very often with human impact (i.e., layoffs). Too bad really, as this has the potential to be a great company. Strategies are too fluffy, too, which is a huge warning sign about this company's longer-term longevity."
"Great work life balance. Climbing the ladder is very difficult. Very steep pyramid structure."

"I have worked for Cisco Systems for 6 years. I have found the different teams easy to interact with. The company emphasizes work ethics. There is a policy where reading the different ethical codes are required."
"Good place to work but not much compensation"
"Great company to work with, I have been here from almost 3 plus year and great support by managers."
"I worked for a Viptela which was the exclusively funded by Sequoia Capital. Once acquired by Cisco we were a sales team of only 20 going into a Tech Giant with over 30,000 Sales Reps. This was an extremely challenging task in which our product was mainly marketed towards Enterprise Customers (Wells Fargo, Cigna, GAP, KOCH). We had to wear many hats and accomplish tasks quickly. The sales team is great and the BU is helpful but slow production/development on the code has changed sales momentum."
"Kind of roles and the number of roles opened in a company by state and country can help to identify the market trend"
"I have been working in Cisco for several years. Some projects were really great with good team. Couple of them were kind of ok with more work and time pressure. Overall a good experience to gain all sorts of expertise in all aspects like documentation, collaboration, development and testing."
"Cisco is known for its Politics. But working for Unified Computing Team has only helped me grow and changed my perception of Cisco. My team is super hardworking and helpful. I would always recommend anyone to work for Cisco. The support I have received from My manager and Director has been tremendous and has only helped me grow and learn."
"One of the best places to work."
