"Identify your strengths and the people that support them, then retain the people. Don't contract the work out because you lose the corporate and project memory."

"I think I would like working at BAE Corporate from what I have seen of that environment. The local facility however leaves a lot to be desired."

"The general work ethic is do the job enough to put in an 8 hour day, if I keep manually fixing thngs that could be automated that gives me job security. If I fix it then I am not needed for this and my job may not be secure."

"no opportunity to grow, comp. systems to old,not educaded managment,etc."

"QA Manager shuld have at least Associate degree and be familiar how to respect employee"

"BAE Systems in Wayne, NJ had a good range of skill and opportunities. I was able to learn a wide range of technologies within the time I was there and am thankful for all the opportunity I was allotted."

"Don't be nervous and come prepared."

"I don't dislike BAE Systems. Their Cafeteria could use some work though."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suggest that management try to focus their attention on the individual skills of each employee since their skills sets increase very quickly. Many times, the managers do not know their people's skill sets."

"Good technical staff to shadow and learn hardware."

"I loved the fast pace and the challanges. I also loved the reason I was there, for the soldiers in the Middle East."

"My tips for those interviewing for this company is to ask the questions on stability of your position. Also, when they tell you it is a 40 hour work week, dont be so sure, because my average work weeks consisted of 50+ hours, and was still told it wasnt enough. Make sure that this is what you want, because you will live there. Remember, its for the soldiers."

What don't you like about working at BAE Systems?

"It was impossible to move up the ladder if others felt threatend by you. Also, there is alot of nepotism. I lost my position due to my head boss's 10 year friend needed a job, so I got booted and I was out of work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion to management is to LISTEN to the employees that have the knowledge and experiance. Sometimes, having a Bachelor Degree does not always mean they know more."

"They were a NH based company. They had a good benifit package. The people are good to work with. I really enjoyed the challenge the position gave me within the company."

"The company did not promote employees unless you had many years in the company."

"To have a better understanding of the people below them."

"The hours bid for projects is often not enough and requires personal time to make up the difference."

"Management is good but marketing needs to work with them more closely."

"The leadership in my department did not take care of all the employees, but took care of themselves. They were not fair leaders, and they made poor decisions."

"Accept responsibility for your decisions, and don't find scape goats."
