"I felt I made a great contribution to get a facility up and running in a previously unserved area. I learned much about the process, and even more about what happens when it is allowed to fall apart due to poor administration and lack of support.the facility was state of the art , but opened without enough MDs and RNs to staff the specialty labs to provide services needed, and ICU was severely understaffed and overcensused. Though short and painful, it came with great personal growth and knowledge gained."

"be clear and honest regarding role expectations. keep your word, trust nurses 2:1 max ratios"
