However, I was given many restrictions by my supervisor every time that I have presented ideas to improve my department. I enjoy training employees and helping them when they need it but do not like those who refuse to learn or change bad habits."

"I enjoyed the challenges and the bond that you develop with your peers."

"I was in the military, so interviewing was not something that we were required to do."
What don't you like about working at United States Navy?
"I did not have too much of an issue with the command that I worked at."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would like for management to just keep developing the junior personnel."

"Almost all communication was by email. People rarely discussed problems."

"Talk to people when you fire them. You might find exit interviews useful."

"Become more global inclined and more sensitive to diversity intenally and externally. Become more socially responsible and get invovled with community relations"

"I was working with child and adolescents it was a challenge as it was my first time but it was fullfilling"

"be upfront in what you are looking for and make sure that everything is in writing."

"the lack of support because we were a satillite clinic"

"Remember that you have staff working throughout the entire institution."

"The experience working with the Census was valuable for what I learned about the city and state."

"Since it was a temporary contract position, most people would not seek it out unless they were between permanent positions."

"Highly structured due to the nature of the government and sensitivity of the data."

"None. We were told they were not interested in what we thought."

"Know up front what the experience is anticipated to be. Every hospital is different after all."
What don't you like about working at Southampton Hospital?
"The difficulty working with my immediate superior and her lack of knowledge about theactual floor experience. For her it was simply doing the paperwork."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Visit the units at various times of the day to see how the process works and howdifficult it is for the staff to cover all the bases. This is why a team effort works sowell in this environment."
