1.8The 2 - 3 company provided, PRE-QUALIFIED leads that I would run EACH WEEK actually turned out to be 1 or 2! 1 - 2 of the leads would tell me either, that they were high pressured by a DOOR TO DOOR canvasser; or they keep getting called off of the same call list month to month, and they wanted to tell someone face to face to STOP CALLING!!! The 1-2 leads a week that were interested in buying something, were pretty decent leads, w/ just a few issues. The 1st (FIRST) problem was that Wingler's MARK-UP on their pricing is ASTRONOMICAL. My clients liked me a lot, but always told me that they were going with another company because the other company was using the SAME PRODUCTS in the wet area, the same exact vanities w/ tops, & the SAME Moen hardware... but for HALF the price!!! I figured since I was trying to protect the company margins, that the company would be somewhat lenient on collecting back on the draws, that they had been paying me & eventually CAPPED me on. But unfortunately, that didn't happen. The very next commission check that I received, had been DOCKED OVER $1,000. Meantime, over the last 2 months, 2 more sales reps were hired in to the company. They each received draws for a month, then quit without selling 1 thing! Sure keep paying “un-proven” reps, while someone that has been selling gets NO DRAW??? They sure weren't going to increase the cap on my draws to help me out. The 2nd (SECOND) problem was that 80% of the leads from Wingler came from CANVASSERS. There was NEVER ANY URGENCY TO BUY, even though I did a great job of creating urgency in the home! Finally, the company has been chasing checks since I started. Every time I called in a sale to management, they ALWAYS wanted to come pick the deposit up from me, wherever I was!!! I had clients tell me that their check had been cashed the same day it was written (which usually scared them), but they trusted me, so they didn’t stop the project!
