"I love the challenges associated with Technical Services: managing engineers, testers, writers, PMO, support keeps me on my toes. The challenge is often to explain the importance of this work as opposed to pure engineering. That can get old :). Executive work is only rewarding when we succeed. On the whole my work has been rewarding."

"Company is liquidating its assets as venture capital investors recoupe some of their investment"

"Company was venture capital funded... funding ran out due to the poor economics."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Solicite information from everyone so as to make better decisions on direction."

"This review is very accurate as far as I see it, because I wasted two years of my life there."
What do you like about working at Chromalloy?
"Some of the people in engineering are OK. Tool room easy to work with. What I also liked about chromalloy was mike Riley blaming everyone else for his incompetence. What I liked also was the h fact that everyone is a director, manager and VP.I think only two non-union people actually work there."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't waste your time. The only way your going get in is if your an ass kisser too!"
What don't you like about working at Chromalloy?
"People working as engineers who are not degreed engineers. The incompetence of senior management, which made it hard to move forward with a project. Mandatory one sat per month, which could land on a holiday weekend. People do not advance on merit but on ass kissing. and thats why you have terrible management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would recommend you all resign. Why don't you pay the union extra dollar so they don't strike. This way the rank and file won't have to work from 7pm to 7am."
