"Great place to work with a great environment. I couldn't be more happier to work at USU."
"I have been working as teaching assistant at Utah State University. It has been a great work experience with a competitive salary."
"I worked for USU several years after I graduated from school. Knowing someone in the department was helpful in getting an interview, but the work demands and moral of the team is entirely different depending on where you go. I loved working for USU and found many great friends on my team, innovative and creative people. I would say the established bureaucracy makes it difficult for new ideas to improve the old ones, which is unfortunate, and a lot of money seems to be wasted. The benefits were the best I ever expect to see again though!"
"Very good university, and great experience. Excellent faculty and amazing atmosphere!"
"I have been studied in USU for 9 years and worked in the department of ADVS for 6 years. The department is dedicated to education and research. The academic atmosphere has been excellent, which provides a good opportunity and environment to the students and scholars. And the college town, Logan, is such a beautiful and safe place to live."
"Great. I enjoy working here, the life-work balance is great and all the employees here are nice."
"The teaching experience was great and I got to work with excellent professors."
"Nice place to work, good place to develop your skill set"
"I've worked for Utah State University for about 4 years now as a research assistant in two different positions. I love it and would recommend it to any student seeking to develop its classroom potential into real world experience. Your supervisors work with your needs and schedule and provide a great balance of step by step guidance and challenging you."
"This is a hydrology laboratory attached to a university's research foundation, not a private company, and I was a student developer working on scientific software, not a full-time developer. That said, this was a great place to work as a student."
"Utah State gave me both good education along with good experience in terms of hands-on experiments."
"This is a state university. And I am working as a graduate general assistant. And this is my part time position."
"I've quite enjoyed working at USU. While a student, I was able to work when I could and study when I needed to."
"Average working environment. Only here as a grad student so don't know much about policies in the regular work place. Great place to go if you love the mountains. People are also friendly. I think there are always politics everywhere you go."
"I've worked at the USU Research Foundation for a couple of years. It's a MUCH better place to work than USU proper. The work life balance is amazing, and the company has a stated goal for retention - Meaning that they put a concerted effort into making the work environment awesome. I get to work with some really smart people, and have great projects to work on."
