"I liked traveling and working with a team. All these different people coming together to get a job done was an amazing aspect of working in the military."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you join any branch of the military you need to learn how to adapt. You are not at home anymore and this is not the world that you just came from. Accept that and everything will go a lot smoother."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"People worry about the smallest things and they don't really care much for the big picture. There was a lot of nitpicking about if someone saw you working instead of the actual work itself."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would actually take care of my team and not throw them to the wolves if the outcome benefited me. A leader is supposed to take care of those that follow him. They are not scapegoats to cover him in case of bad outcomes."
