"I have been in the army since 2008. I started from an E-1 private and worked my way up to an E-4 specialist. I earned my rank through hard work and dedication. I love being in the United States Army and being a soldier, but it is time for me to move on and branch out into a different field and see how far into a new career I can go. I know the transition will not be easy but as long as I am focused and remain confident, I know I can do any task given to me and get the job done with no problems."

"All you can do is be honest, and make the best of what you have. Don't sell yourself short."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"I don't like having a choice about the way things go, we are controlled from so much higher than we are, we go where we are told and when we are told. Things can change on a whim, you never know what to expect. I'm talking on a grand scale, such as deployments. While I don't mind working for a boss at all, in the army, your ultimate boss is a politician."
