"Loss of close ones, family separation, and low pay for some of the jobs that we must do."

"Risk, time, personnel, security, health and welfare, supplies, standards and regulations, morale, proper training management are a few of the management skills that need to be at all times present for success in any organization."

"Character building. It was a great place to start after I graduated high school. I would recommend it to everyone."

"Do it, the greatest joy I had was that the people I was protecting were able to continue to go about their daily lives knowing that my buddies and I were out there watching over them."

"As an infantryman, there were many cold nights out in the field, but that was part of the whole experience."

"None, I think they are still doing a fine job, given the missions they are having to accomplish."
