"I've worked for the United Kennel Club for just over three months, and in that time, I've seen enough that I am actively applying for other positions. The workplace is dated; the work-life balance is nonexistent; time off for holidays is limited and restricts employees' ability to visit non-local families; coworker relationships are clique-based and there is very little effort made to build a sense of teamwork or camaraderie amongst the staff. Overall, it feels as if the company is operating as if it were still in the 1980s-1990s, rather than on the cusp of 2020. UKC has an incredible legacy, but it seems like it has made little effort to change with the times, leaving them in a place where they are scrambling to update their image and internal procedures in order to stay competitive."
