"I loved the ambiance and work atmosphere at Homecomings. Our management was very approachable, and everyone worked as a team. There was seldom an occasion where a colleague or superior failed to act in unity. The company was very utopian in nature. Everyone from the Receptionist to the Regional Manager loved their job and performed it passionately."

"The Company is no longer around."
What don't you like about working at Homecomings Financial?
"I did not like the fact that they gave very little notice, when they informed us of their intentions to close their Newport Beach office. It was done so in a crass manner. They too, were on the list of lenders on the implode list. It was primarily due to the fact that they carried a bulk of the Option Arm Loans"

"Please be more courteous and time sensitive when informing your employees when closing your doors"

"The interview was a breeze, however, be focused and attentive."

"They do not pay for sick time, vacations, holidays, etc. The list is extensive and they really don't pay much in salary."

"If you compensate your employees appropriately, they are more likely to stay and be more loyal."

"They worked hard and played hard. Fun to be at work and they had activities and incentives every month. They took care of employees like family."

"Make sure you are able to work anytime including overtime, weekends or even holidays with no problem. They only give hours notice and you must stay or they will find someone who will."

"Toward the end when financial problems started showing they would tend to be somewhat unprofessional when dealing with employees."

"Treat employees with respect and keep them in the loop about new possibilities so they aren't shocked when change happens. It makes us feel uneasy and hard to trust the management at times."
