"I've worked as a student web developer at the Boalt law school at UC Berkeley for about a year and half now. I've found it very enlightening and challenging. I was trained quickly in PHP, SQL, and HTML/CSS and able to begin my own projects within a couple of weeks. Within half a year I was able to advance and take on more important priority projects. My co-workers and boss have been exceptionally helpful and willing to answer any of my questions. This job gave me the passion for web development."

"I worked for the Extension Division. They're in quite a state of flux right now with substantial pressure to deliver financial returns while budgets are declining. The Berkeley faculty & students are the finest in the world. The "business" of education creates pressure that doesn't contribute to this being a fun environment."
