"If you like dragging a 200' hose through dog crap, this job may be for you."
What do you like about working at TruGreen?
"I liked absolutely NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. Did I mention absolutely nothing!!!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"DON'T DO IT. Scrape up road kill for a living if you have to."
What don't you like about working at TruGreen?
"I worked for a wagon-load of buffoons who are dumber than a box of rocks."
"I worked for TruGreen starting in late February to the end of June and enjoyed the challenging sales experience. Their training program for becoming a successful outside sales representative was very good. I feel like there were other things they could do to strengthen employee satisfaction. Over all the company was good to work for and had good quality people working under management. My bosses were great people who cared about there goals and the employees they hired."
"This is a great company to work for."
"I've been with Trugreen since 09, residential sales and commercial sales. I have outstanding experience in all areas of sales and customer service. This includes training new employees and handling customer issues and interaction with all managers. Job description does include phone sales."
"I have no idea how can a company hire so many perverted men and house them in one roof. All the men here would come on to you while knowing you are married. While working there, I saw some of them touching themselves and no one ever did anything. The HR department is a joke. Half of the time, there is no HR so if you have any issues, too bad. Management is always putting each other down and thinking they are better than each other. The money is good but if you are a woman and are ok with this..."
"I worked at TruGreen Corporate for about 6 months, before the split with ServiceMaster. All in all, I love my team and my supervisor. They are fantastic people. Company culture is pretty nice! However, if you work here, be prepared to take on a lot of responsibility in terms of your work load and everything else that needs to be done, for not the compensation of doing as much as you will do. I am burned out, so that is why I'm job hunting. However, thank you for the experience, TruGreen. :)"
"Plenty of room for growth. Weak commission structure, thankfully the base is good. Manager should not oversee sales. They are more service managers, hopefully they will implement a sales mgr in the future."
"TruGreen was a great employer."
"They are the worst company. They treat their coworkers very bad and they don't appreciate the work that they put in."
"I worked with TruGreen for 8 years and it was one of the most horrible places to work. You get yelled at constantly, written up for the most insane reasons and they make you feel worthless even when you are one of their best employees. If you are seeking a job with this company, I recommend you forget it."
"Good place to work, only problem is they don't pay very well to start."
"I worked for TruGreen for less than 1 year because I received a better job offer. The one thing I did like about the position was the cardio (lots of walking) and talking to new people everyday. On the downside, however, the pay is not worth what you do everyday and the communication between sales, techs, managers, and customers is horrible. There are several times you will be doing a lawn that is way under priced because the sales reps have to hit a quota. I would never work there again and hopefully this review helps you."
"I've worked for TruGreen for about 3 years now. I started in sales and moved up to Branch Employment Coordinator. It is a great company to work for. My boss is great and we have a wonderful team environment! We have cookouts and get prizes! There are great benefits and the pay is good!"
"Keep doing what you're doing. Working WITH you helps me achieve my goals. Not working AGAINST you. I love my job."
"Try to give more opportunities to the lower employees so they can move up to start learning more about your company, maybe offer them schooling, show them how to be managers or crew leaders and what schooling to help them move up so that they could become the leaders for the crews that do the best, maybe offer them something that helps move up."
