Submit a Review"I love the hours. I worked only on the weekends so it worked perfect for me to have my full time job Monday-Friday and then work at here on Saturdays and Sundays. What I couldn't handle was the busy Christmas season when they wanted me to work during the week. I had to put my other job on hold (which was fine because I am self-employed and could make that call myself) but once the Christmas season was over I found it hard to get back into my full time job, and I had to leave Portrait Innovations."

"The idea of working with a world famous company and the challenges that come along with it."

"This is a very challenging company to do Financial Analysis for. The people are great but they need better systems to work with."
What don't you like about working at Coca-Cola?
"Systems didn't talk to each other. There was a lot of manual updating to reports."

"Better financial systems and tools would help things move more efficiently."

"I liked the variety that I had when working this job. I was very young so I liked moving around."

"Yes, this is a company where you can grow and become successful."
What don't you like about working at The Oaks Group?
"I didnt like that it was a temp jo and that the main office was in the galleria."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, the company was great. Management was nice as well. They wanted to hire me time."

"The variety of Jobs I get to do and the people I get to meet."

"Do your very best because you are representing the company. They are worth representing well."

"Inconsistency in work available during certain times. I only get temporary work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Nothing. They are doing a great job finding me work."
What do you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Recruiter is great. Gauging how well you fit into the company culture as a contractor is uncertain, because contractors are treated different from employees. Contractors are generally kept in relative isolation, but are expected to know the business in great detail."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just ask for what type of client company you want to work for. Otherwise a technical match may not mean a business-level match."
What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Since I'm a contractor, the people at the jobs they send me to expect more to be done in 40 hours than I can realistically do, and they don't allow overtime, generally. If the nature of the business the client company is in is unfamiliar or uninteresting to me, the only way to succeed is to have mentors who can train and answer business-specific questions. Client companies unfortunately never seem to have time for that."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More training at the client companies. Don't assume technical contractors are experts in the business rules."

"This is a large University and Hospital. Each division may have positions available."

"Not a full time job, and hours are based on number of students signed up for courses."

"To be honest. Do not say you can do something you are not qualified for."

"I did not become a permanent employee.3 month assignments at a time."

"More communication. Let know in advance of pending contract expiration"

"Walk away unless your desperate and its not a temp position."

"Make sure that payroll was triple checked for new employees to make sure there would be no foul ups."
