What do you like about working at Konica Minolta?
"Clean environment, co-workers are friendly, but you do have to watch your back. There is a lot of tattle-tails at KMBS."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are out of work and need a short term job, then it's okay, but long term it's not a place to call home."
What don't you like about working at Konica Minolta?
"Regardless of how hard you work, and regardless of the money you save the company, they are more interested that you are at your desk at 8:30 am than your job performance. They more often than not turn you down for a promotion or salary increase."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The reason you are losing good talent, is the way employees are allowed to be treated. It is more important the work get done correctly than if you are at your desk at 8:30 am. Also, when it's the day before a holiday let us go home early - all of management does, why can't the rest of us? Give starting vacation based upon the level of the employee hired, a manager who works really hard should get more than 2 weeks. Take a look a Bergen County, it is just as expensive to live here as it is in NYC, so it would be nice to receive a decent salary for the job being performed."

What do you like about working at Crowe Horwath?
"Compensation & benefits are competitive with other CPA firms. Working from home is acceptable most of the time. Good opportunity for people starting off in their career."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Good opportunity for entry level up to senior. Look elsewhere before reaching manager level. Very little growth from within the firm."
What don't you like about working at Crowe Horwath?
"No work-life balance despite their giving lip service to it. Very stressful and cut-throat environment. Unreasonable budgets and sales goals for managers and above. Everyone is expected to meet these goals. Sales ability is valued at the expense of technical ability and client service. Only those people who live and breathe the Crowe mantra and live their values are rewarded, even if they are weak technically. Cultural diversity is almost nonexistent despite giving lip service to that. Very conservative Midwestern firm where you can find ethnic support groups that have no power in a largely White Ango environment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep an eye on how your senior management treat their employees. Partners and senior management play favorites with certain employees while mistreating others based on personal bias. Exceptions to well-documented Crowe policies are made for certain people but not others, Also, if a person feels uncomfortable selling, he/she should not be forced to. This is not what the person was trained for."

"Nothing they took over the company and laid off everyone in my department."

"Don't interview at AGL if you want to have a good career."
What don't you like about working at AGL Resources?
"They eliminated my position and did not try to find a new position for me."

"Don't come in and tell people one thing and then do the complete opposite when the time comes."

"The collaborative nature of all work performed and ability to utilize my expertise in all projects and work performed."

"Should have good self-starter skills and a personality that allows you to work with many different people from many other departments."
What don't you like about working at Booz Allen Hamilton?
"The hoteling system for employees that was implemented disrupted the work flow and made collaboration with other departments more difficult."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There aren't many suggestions as it is a great company to work for, however, hoteling did make collaborating with other departments more challenging."
