"The things I love most about being a study coordinator are learning about all of the amazing new treatments being developed from vaccines to pain relievers. I love the challenge of putting all of the aspects of a study protocol and its procedures into action in such a way that it runs smoothly from beginning to finish for all involved, the volunteers, our company, and the sponsor. Seeing new treatments go to market that went through clinical trials that you were part of is so rewarding. It gives you a real appreciation for what you're doing and why it's so important to do it right. I love that I get to work with some really fun and intellectual people every day. There's rarely ever a dull moment."
