Submit a Review"I liked being with the customers. That was the reason I stayed so long after wanting to leave for 2 years. I still miss the customers, some were bad, most were great, the stores locations usually means you will see the same people every day, so you can really get to know the people who shop there. We used to help customers with bills, or food if they couldn't afford it. It reminded me of an era gone, when people were neighbors. I would probably work in another retail store, just not this one."

"I love talking to people and helping to get what they need as quickly as possible. The hours were good and the work pressures were very low so that I could go home and do the stuff that I really like: programming, math, drawing and making music."

"I liked the people I worked with, the management was very supportive."

"The overall company was mis managed and the stores were forced to close"

"To not open so many stores just for the sake of growth"

"Some of the people I worked with were great and I still have a rapport with them."
What don't you like about working at Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board?
"They attempt to consume all of your time. As a part time worker they want to you to leave your entire schedule open for them to call you to work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Work on customer service. Don't tolerate any inappropiate behavior from employees. Allow workers with educational or career goals to obtain them, after all they are suppose to working part-time. Take complaints about the job seriously from workers. Investigate all complaints about upper management fully."

"Great place to work if can handle the fast pace and can multitask."

"Sometimes feel like overselling product may cause customer to feel uneasy and go else where for their needs, when promoting weekly specials."

"Provide a better training program for store clerks to feel comfortable when first starting out."
